Bound for Toledo, in tow of steamer WILLIAM B. COWIE. She sheltered in the bay in a storm, but struck a bar near the river mouth and later broke in two. Owned by Henning of Bay City, MI Made several trips to Europe in the 50’s and 60’s, a trade for which she was built, but which never panned out.. major repairs, 1870, 1879, 81. Ashore near Alpena and declared a total loss in November, 1869 and reduced to a barge after her recovery.
